Addo Game Reserve – Gorah Elephant Camp

Addo Elephant Park is absolutely amazing. I couldn’t believe all the elephants I saw there and the baby elephants were so cute! I highly recommend a visit to this amazing elephant sanctuary.

Addo Elephant Park was proclaimed in 1931 as a fortress for the 11 remaining African elephants in the area. As the elephant population increased and the park became more successful the surrounding land and adjacent farms were acquired and has resulted in the Addo National Park covering an impressive 492 000 hectares.
